January 22, 2003 (Al): I have loved this song from the first time that I heard it this past July. (Thanks Dan Garland). I love how it juxtaposes some of my favorite texts: 2 Chronicles 7:14, Habakkuk 2:14, and Psalm 2:7. As we work with people from many different nations in Paris, I'm often moved whenever I hear the chorus about asking God for the nations. Our church has the vision statement of "being a house of prayer for all the nations." I love how God is raising up mission-focused music all around the world, including Australia, where this song was written.
