After picking up Emmanuelle's new passport, Al celebrated by a promenade in central Paris. When we were dating and during our first year of marriage, we spent a lot more time exploring Paris than we do nowadays.
Mission Radicale was a partner with the CIJEM in this 2 day youth gospel festival held east of Paris in Gagny. Francis Dognon helped organized a Marathon of the New Testament, a reading of the whole New Testament by different young people during the conference. 2,500 people attended the Saturday evening concert by "Expression Louange," a trio from Quebec composed of Maggie Blanchard, Tabitha, and Sébastion. It was an encouraging sign to see that many young people gathered at one event. It was good to get to see a number of the Mission Radicale young people again, including David, Freddy, and Prisca. The MR brochure for the July 2004 conference was hot off the press yesterday, so we were able to begin distributing it. By having it ready this early, we hope that we can get a jump on some registrations.
